New Teacher at the One-room
Schoolhouse
A new teacher will be ringing the bell at the One-room Schoolhouse this spring.
Izzy Donnelly will be running the program for local children at the Provencal-
Weir House.
Donnelly, a musician, artist, actress, and former teacher, is perfect for the job,
said GPHS Executive Director Maureen Devine. “Izzy will draw on her experi-
ence to bring local history to life. Her fun personality will shine through,” said
Devine. “Field trip season is upon us and I predict the student groups will enjoy
spending the day with our new schoolmistress.”
