FALL 2010
Dr. Frank Bicknell Lecture Series
the
Moorings
Campers enjoyed a variety of
activities that harkened back
to a simpler time. The children
painted snake gourds, dyed
fabric from berries, hung them
to dry and wove a belt with the
fabric on homemade looms.
Homemade lemonade was en-
joyed by all, as well as French
pear crepes made from scratch.
Izzy Donnelly ran the camp
with assistants Kerri Marowske
and Victoria Slater. Most of
this year’s campers were new
to Ribbon Farm Days at the
Provencal-Weir House. Some
came back from school visits or
Second Saturdays.
